I'm designing smart home and want to automate the opening of top window in the kitchen. Manual access is inconvenient, as the window is high. I want to install a compact actuator that can be connected to the climate control system. I'm not sure which one to choose—an electric linear actuator or another type. I need it to be quiet and not overheat. It's also important that it can be stopped at any position.
